I am not sure what this is going to look like in the long run, but I am sure there will be some evolution along the way, no matter what I decide in the next five minutes. My initial thought was to start with a tool, a word or phrase that has spiritual value to me, one that is in my kit of tools or one that I want to have there. My most recent thoughts, however, have been to begin with where I am on that day and choose the tool, word or phrase in the same fashion and relate it to my day. This is probably going to be the format for a bit.
I am leaning in the direction of where I am today because I think it will keep me current and I will not have to fabricate thoughts about something I pull from the air or just because it is next on the list. My sense is, I will be led much more by the spirit in this fashion as opposed to my own thoughts.
I tend to write like I talk, using lots of extraneous words. Hopefully by practicing here for a while I will be able to write more succinctly and with a brevity that will be striking and you, poor reader, won't have to muddle through all of my garble.
The tool for today is beginning and so I have begun.
There must be a beginning of any great matter, but the continuing unto the end until it be thoroughly finished yields the true glory.
